Career Challenge
“We had this idea that we would grow pretty exponentially through hiring people in certain key positions. And some of that came true and some of it didn’t. And as a result, we had to eliminate some positions and lay off a few people. I knew that there was actually another round of layoffs coming, and when I did the mental math I realized that my position was likely going to be included. It took me into this place where I had gotten a little bit depressed by it.”
