Best Career Advice

“Responsibility is overrated. Go off and mess around and muck about for as long as you can cause you’re gonna wake up one day and you’re going to have a business. You’re going to have a mortgage payment. You’re going to have a family and you can’t go back and do that again.”

Career Challenge

“I needed to get a scholarship to go to college and to do that, I knew that I was a decent student, but I knew that basketball was going to be a vehicle for me. So I really, really tripled down on that to try to use that as a vehicle to be able to help me get into schools. And I was horrible. I didn’t even start my freshman and sophomore year. But I was so committed to it that I was just like the little engine that could, and I think that there was so many times that it was so demotivating sitting on the bench watching people who are better, and still having to kind of keep that belief that I can somehow do it.”
