Interview Highlights
“In this industry, I think a lot of people from the outside think it’s super romantic and you’re walking around and shaking hands of customers, but you are going to do stuff you’ve never dreamed about doing.”
Best Career Advice
“You should be the last person to leave and the first person here.”
Career Challenge
“When I graduated grad school, I was still clueless of what I wanted to do. And I came back to D.C., and I got a job with Douglas Development for 10 days. It was insane, and there was really no direction. I didn’t even get a computer or a job description. It was just chaos. I tried as hard as I could, and I made this newsletter and then I got fired pretty ruthlessly.”
