“I worked for a company that got taken over by another company and I, one day no longer had my job … I call it fired because I had a job that I really liked at a place I really liked that paid me a salary. I really liked working with people and then one day someone else had that job … I thought that if you work hard and do what you’re supposed to do and have a modicum of success that you rise up through the ranks, not find yourself fired. And again, these jobs are so subjective. Success is subjective.”
