Career Challenge

In Asprey’s first VP job, he worked for an emotionally abusive boss, working his butt off just to have all of his good marketing campaigns blocked. He started questioning his sanity and his self worth, because he thought he was doing good work but it kept getting sabotaged. He eventually quit, but wishes that he had done it sooner, saying that it’s ok to leave a job in the same way that it’s ok to get out of a bad relationship. He now no longer tolerates that kind of behavior in his career.
