“I had a very long commute in D.C. traffic, and it would not be unusual to take an hour and 30 minutes to get home. It was not fun, and I had realized driving that much and having that long of a commute was taking a physical toll. It was affecting my social life. It was affecting how much I could concentrate at work. I said to myself, well, I have to go to work and I have to live where I live. So the commute is not going to change, but maybe my attitude about it can.”
