“When I was at the start-up, Badoo, things had gotten to a point where they had fired almost all of my peers when I started, so I didn’t feel like I had many peers that I could confide in. Meanwhile, everything seemed to be getting crazier. The work environment seemed to be very toxic and I think most frustrating, I didn’t feel like I had any power to improve things. So I saw people around me suffering, and I felt like I was suffering.”
