Best Career Advice

“Work smarter, not harder … Make sure that you’re bringing value to the table and don’t just work to work.”

Career Challenge

“I quit [my job], and I was making what I thought was a lot of money for myself, because I just didn’t like the way they went about their business. I thought that they were committed to the wrong things. They were working for money and I don’t want to work for money, I want to make money as a byproduct of doing something else … And so one day I just quit and I didn’t have another job. And I thought, ‘I’m the biggest idiot that’s ever lived. I just quit a great job.’ And the next day, I ran into this guy, Alfred Geller, in an elevator. And he was a big agent at the time. And I convinced him to start a company with me. And he lit the match in my life that changed me forever.”
