“Through 2019, we just had a really difficult year when it came to sales. It was a constant battle of making payroll, being able to pay our bent teams’ benefits, being able to pay for inventory … and long story short, it was a really challenging year and it all came from cash flow problems and it all came from our sales and it all came from the strategy of scaling and growing [that] wasn’t working anymore. So that was the problem. And the fix was just to do a deep dive into what was working, what wasn’t working and what we needed to do to survive … And that kind of made us rework our strategy and that made us adapt … So we took the bad sales and pivoted and regrouped and figured out … we just need to sustain the business.”
