“And after two, two and a half years only in India, they said we have an opening, and there’s a promotion to a full staff position from contract in Jerusalem. Do you want to take it? And I took it. I took it for the wrong reasons. I took it because I thought it would be better for my career. I thought I’d be more visible. The truth is I didn’t enjoy it as much. The work was grueling. You’re under a microscope scope in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It was less of an adventure but still great.”
