Interview Highlights
“I felt like I was leaving this very legitimate medical world of emergency medicine and kind of going off into something that was a little bit more fringy, I guess at the time, this is eight years ago. My identity was still very much as an ER doctor. And so to walk away from that was a little bit tricky. And I had to, you know, build up my own self esteem a little bit too, to get through that, but it, it worked out.”
Career Challenge
“My whole life was really difficult. And then I hear these things from these, these people. And I just felt like I was kind of a failure. Like I just felt like I was doing a bad job and it was getting worse because I was getting pregnant. So that continued for, for several months. I’d eventually had to, I had to quit working a little early to have the babies and I got back to work and I was, I was pretty down for a little while.”
