“I started Lexicon. It was just me. So overhead wasn’t that much, but as you grow and you take on overhead, you do have these financial challenges. In 2001, and then flowing into 2002, when boom ended, probably 70% of our business was in the Silicon Valley. So I had to really go to the bank, get loans.”
