“I’d just secured my first full-time role after the graduate program, it was to be in the team responsible for BT Fleet, one of the largest fleet companies in the UK. It was only after I signed the contract, a few weeks into that role, the big announcement that BT Fleet was being sold. I’m sitting in their office next to all of the product teams and the CEO, so that just created a ripple of uncertainty throughout the office.”
