Joe Bubman is the Technical Lead for Integrating Approaches in Complex Crises* at one of the world’s largest humanitarian and development NGOs, Mercy Corps. Previously, Joe served as Acting Director of Peace and Conflict and as a Senior Peace and Conflict Advisor where he supported the development and implementation of conflict management programs in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.  Joe is also the co-founder and CEO of the Super Decathlon for One America, a for-profit organization that strengthens relationships and bridges the divide between rural and urban communities through fun, friendly team competitions, joint projects and constructive political dialogue. Joe earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from Northwestern University. He has an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC.

*Joe left Mercy Corps in February 2019. He is now the Founder and Executive Director of Urban Rural Action.
