Shara Ruffin is the founder of Journey To Licensure, a coaching company that helps social workers become licensed in record time. She is also an independently licensed clinical social worker and a former psychotherapist who specializes in grief, personality disorders, family trauma, compassion fatigue, among many other psychological challenges. Shara is a five time Amazon bestselling author, with books such as 90 Day Prayer Journal: A Journal for Social Workers and 90 Days of Inspiration: Study Companion for Social Workers Taking Their Licensing Exams. She also hosts a new podcast, Journey to Licensure and is a LinkedIn advisor and was awarded top 15 LinkedIn experts in Philadelphia in 2023. Shara graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in social work and received a masters of social work from Howard University.
