“The standout experience is becoming a hostess and a waitress … I had so much pride because, again, here I was with my four year degree, I had worked for these big companies, had all these great experiences and I was going to be a hostess and a waitress … I had to put pride aside and, like I said, humble myself … I need a job. I have a mortgage. I don’t know what else to do. I have children I need to take care of and I need a job … It just turned out to be an amazing experience … I just knew to take a situation and still have hope.”
