Career Path
Interview Highlights
“My favorite thing to do is rather than treating a symptom with a medication, adjust something at the root. And this is no more true than when a medication itself is causing a symptom”
Best Career Advice
“Be able to tell yourself you’re going to be okay, because the fact is challenges happen.”
Career Challenge
“I think throughout med school, that was just one huge professional challenge. I just did not feel in alignment with it. Even since I got to the other side of that training process and I’ve been in practice, it became clear if I just keep pursuing things that do feel in alignment for me, then I’m on the right track. So I started pursuing Chinese medicine and acupuncture and Ayurveda and functional medicine. I now practice in a way that feels true for me.”
